Turnover

I  love ensemble stories, especially rom-coms and dramadies  about groups of people being forced  to deal with each other, and often set in minimal locations.  Some of my favorites include “Breakfast Club” and “Anniversary Party”.    I also love the setting of the food business, being a ‘foodie’ myself,  as well as growing  up in and around it with a waitress/bartender mom.

 

 

Turnover is a story about accepting others for who they are and not trying to mold them into someone else.  This theme runs through the relationship of Peter and his new “misfit” employees, between he and his wife, Fran, and also between he and Henry, his manager.
